We are very lucky that so many days here in Destin look exactly like the beautiful photos and videos on our website and other marketing materials. However, you should be aware that all of our water adventures are outdoors and influenced by Mother Nature. Many days the water is crystal clear and aquamarine in color; others are not. Though we hope that every day is perfect, we are not in control of the wind, waves, tides, clouds, rain, or underwater sea life.

Although it is extremely rare not to see dolphins on a cruise, it happens occasionally. Dolphins are wild animals. Somedays they are shy, somedays they are off following the food, somedays they are simply hard to find. We spend every day on the water, which allows us to know their favorite spots and their habits according to the time of day. Dolphins love to keep us on our toes, but we always make a valiant effort trying to find them!

Sadly, it is not! The city added regulations to overnight mooring at Crab Island, which coincidentally did away with the water park as it would usually take weeks to set up. We know this is disappointing to those who have seen videos of the waterpark that are still surfacing on social media and YouTube today.

Crab Island is a unique experience for kids of all ages. After hopping on our boat, you can expect an expedition to look for dolphins. We will anchor at Crab Island where we will put out multiple floats, a lilly pad and offer different water games or toys along with small floats. After swimming and playing the kids have usually worked up an appetite for one of the vendors on Crab Island. You will find the Best Shaved Ice on Crab Island. Children of all ages love it and yes that also means you adults as well. Whether you want an incredible flavor or to simply add some snow to add to your favorite adult beverage to keep it nice and cold in the Florida sun Cali Shaved Ice has you covered. You will also find nachos, peanuts and other food vendors at Crab Island as well. Some children get excited about snorkeling at Crab Island, while others tend to be more focused on watching the wide variety of boats driving by. It is definitely a vacation they will be talking about for years to come!
